I got this simple recipe from my wonderful internship supervisor. It turns out, they’re a lot like the banana caramel dippers from Graze (the best snack service ever!). These are less cookie-like than Graze’s– they’re more like bland cakes– but they’re low-calorie, full of protein, and great with yogurt! Plus, they’re super easy to make!

Yogurt and oat dipper snack.

What you need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup of oats
  • Optional ingredients: protein powder, dried berries, chopped almonds, peanut butter… the list goes on!

What to do:

  1. Blend all ingredients.
  2. Place spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

These are seriously the most simple snacks in the world! They won’t satisfy your sweet tooth, but they do provide a nice amount of protein and something to chew on at snack time. I made 11 plain and 11 with chocolate protein powder and generally had two of each along with a cup of yogurt with honey and spirulina powder mixed in.
